ISBM technology consists of a rigid carrier on which we over mold LSR. The rigid carrier is currently made of zinc-coated steel, stainless steel, or aluminium. It features a raised ridge of silicone vulcanized directly on a flat substrate. The geometry of these line sealing elements can be aligned three-dimensionally to a maximum sealing pressure on the flange. This design boosts localized clamping pressure in critical areas. The silicone liquid elastomer is the perfect material to increase process capabilities due to its fast curation properties, enhancing gains of time in productivity.
